How long does a project actually take?

A landing page is typically live in 5–8 business days. A full website runs 3–5 weeks. Custom work is 6–12 weeks depending on what's behind the login. The clock starts when we have your content and brand assets — that's the step that most often adds a week, so we'll tell you up front exactly what we need.

Are the prices on this site fixed?

They're honest starting points, not a menu. Every project gets a fixed quote after discovery, and that number is what you pay unless you ask for something new mid-build. If a project doesn't fit the tier you picked, we'll say so before you commit rather than after.

Question 3

Do I own the code?

Accepted Answer

Completely, on final payment. Source lives in your Git repository under your account, deployed to your hosting account, on your domain. There's no proprietary builder to keep paying for and no lock-in if you'd rather work with someone else later.

Question 4

Can I update the site myself afterwards?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Content lives in structured, hand-editable files, and we walk your team through editing them at handover. If someone needs to publish weekly without touching code, we'll wire up a headless CMS instead — that's a $600 add-on on the Full Website tier.

Question 5

What do you need from me to start?

Accepted Answer

Your logo and any brand assets, whatever copy exists today even in rough form, access to your domain and analytics, and one person empowered to give feedback. That last one matters more than it sounds — projects slow down when feedback arrives by committee.

What happens if I need changes after launch?

Accepted Answer

Bugs are on us: 30 days on Full Website, 90 on Custom. Genuine changes are billed hourly at $120, or you can move to a retainer from $900/month if you'd rather have standing capacity. We'll always tell you which bucket a request falls into before doing the work.

Do you do SEO?

Accepted Answer

We do the technical foundation properly — semantic markup, metadata, structured data, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, internal linking. That's what a developer can control. Ongoing content strategy and link building are a different discipline, and we'll happily recommend people who do it well.

Question 8

Why not just use Squarespace or Webflow?

For plenty of businesses, you should — and we'll tell you if you're one of them. The case for a hand-coded site is speed, accessibility, and no ceiling on what you can build. If your requirements fit comfortably inside a builder and always will, you'll save money staying there.
