Site & Rise
About

A small studio with strong opinions about the web

We build websites the way we'd want one built for us: fast, accessible, honest about cost, and handed over in a state where you never need us again.

Our story

Started because good websites were priced like luxury goods

Site & Rise began in 2026 with a simple observation: the businesses that most needed a good website were the ones being quoted the least sensible prices for one. Agencies wanted five figures for a brochure site. The alternative was a drag-and-drop builder that looked fine for a year and then became somebody’s problem.

So we built a middle path. Real design work and hand-written code, scoped honestly, at prices that make sense for a business doing a few hundred thousand a year rather than a few hundred million.

Since then the work has grown upward — portals, bookings, integrations, commerce — but the smallest tier hasn’t changed. A $450 landing page still gets designed, still gets hand-coded, and still gets handed over as code you own.

Our mission

Make a genuinely good website — fast, accessible, and owned outright — the default option for a growing business, not the expensive upgrade.

Concretely, that means we’d rather talk you into a smaller tier than sell you one you don’t need, and we’d rather tell you a builder would serve you fine than take work that shouldn’t be custom.

Why choose us

Five things we won't compromise on

These aren't aspirations. They're the reasons a project would get turned down.

Fast is a feature

Performance isn't a badge to chase after launch. Every decision — image format, font loading, how much JavaScript ships — gets made with the page-weight budget in view.

Accessible by default

Semantic HTML, real keyboard support, and contrast checked in both themes. Not because a scanner asks for it, but because it's the same work as building it properly.

Plain language, always

We won't hide behind jargon to make a decision sound harder than it is. If we recommend something, you'll understand why — including when the recommendation is to spend less.

Fixed quotes, no drift

You get a number before we start and that's the number. If scope genuinely changes, we tell you what it costs before doing the work, not on the final invoice.

You own everything

Code in your repository, hosting in your account, domain in your name. No proprietary builder, no license to renew, no leverage over you at renewal time.

Still deciding?

Send us the site you have now. We’ll tell you what we’d change and whether it’s worth rebuilding — free, and with no follow-up sequence.
