Tell us what’s going on, and we’ll tell you the truth about whether we can help.
Every enquiry is read by one of the three dietitians rather than by a coordinator. Sometimes the honest answer is a referral to somebody else, and you will get that answer in a day rather than after an intake you paid for.

Before you write
Four things people email to ask, answered here so you do not have to.
Insurance and cost
We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Neighborhood Health Plan of RI, Harvard Pilgrim, and Tufts. Most plans cover medical nutrition therapy at 100% under preventive care — we verify your benefits and tell you the number in writing before your first visit. Self-pay is $180 for the ninety-minute intake and $110 per follow-up.
What to bring to the first visit
Your most recent lab work, ideally within twelve months and including a lipid panel and A1c. A list of medications and supplements with doses. Three days of ordinary eating written down — genuinely ordinary, not your best behaviour. That last one is the most useful item in the list.
Video visits and licensure
We hold RD licensure in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and Vermont, and can see you by video anywhere in those five states. If you are elsewhere, say so in your message and we will name a colleague in your state rather than take you on improperly.
Referrals and physicians
No referral is required to see us, though your insurer may want one on file. If you would like us to send a summary to your physician or endocrinologist, we will — one page, at intake and at the end of the block, with your written permission.
